'King' A male lion surveys his kingdom, studying the horizon for movement. It was painted from a series of photos taken by myself in the Kruger National Park many years ago. Quite tranquil, he obviously has eaten in the last 24 hours and was not interested in me.

"Warm Sun on a Blue Day' This is a painting of Scottish Black face sheep in a yard on a farm at Belstone, North Dartmoor. It eventually turned into a character study of the front pair and some of their friends. A low winter sun provided a beautiful backdrop to this scene,lighting their wool for maximum contrast.
